Inspect Before Signing

When your products arrive, please inspect them before signing for the shipment. Be sure to note on the delivery receipt if there is any damage to the cartons, or if there is a shortage on the shipment. You can also refuse to accept the shipment due to damage.

By following these instructions, you will ensure any damage or shortage claim will be processed correctly. 

Always sign for your delivery. It is very difficult to get carriers to pay for damages if you don’t sign for the shipment.

What to do if your product arrives damaged:

If your product arrives damaged from the freight company, you should note it on the delivery receipt. 

If you see visible damage to the cartons or the product, you can choose to:

  • Keep the product and file a claim. Ask the driver for a claim form. Our freight is insured and you have every right to file a claim with the carrier if they did not handle your products properly.
  • Refuse the product and have the carrier send it back to us.

If you find any damage, please send an email to customerservice@barstoolsetc.com stating your problem. Be sure to include photographs so we can send them directly to the manufacturer.

We reserve the right to repair or replace your furniture as we deem necessary.

Shipment / Manufacturer Delays

We are not responsible for any delays in your shipment. Whether it's a delay from the manufacturer or a freight company. 

No pressure from us, we want your end result right. 

Take your time & make sure your selection is correct. Once your order goes into production no changes can be made. 

Special orders cannot be cancelled or returned.
